A Beautiful Place

This spectacular scenic view epitomizes what I think is a beautiful place. This beach is not very well known, and hence its beauty stems from its secrecy. It is a quiet place that is unlike the rest of the city --busy, noisy etc. The most significant reason as to why this place is beautiful is that its natural environment is still preserved -- untouched. The combination of the different natural colours and its unique features emphasise its beauty. It is naturally beautiful.

The Louvre

The building that most inspired me to become an arichitect is one of the world's largest museums, The Louvre. I remember visiting The Louvre when staying in Paris, and although I was only 11 years old, I still remember the amazement that consumed all my thoughts.

An intriguing feature of this significant piece of architecture is the glass pyramid (centre), but what inspried me the most was how the glass pyramid complemented its surrounding architecture.

Whilst in Paris, I learnt that the museum was first constructed as a fortress. It was then later used as a royal palace and is now currently used as a museum. The Louvre's architectural metamorphoses depicts a structure's ability to be transformed both in its interior and exterior appearance.

Image Illustrated During Highschool

This is a character from the Walt Disney movie 'Atlantis'. During my time time in highschool my passion was drawing, mainly cartoon characters, which was a creative outlet for me. I particularly loved to draw characters from different movies because each character was unique in a way that its appearance differed significantly from the rest. The character on the left differed from the rest because his facial features are sharper, compared to characters from other movies. Drawing different characters alloowed me to focus on the specific techniques used for each character.
